Purpose: To help with the school in the church in Jeantilhome. There are more than 140 students and currently only two untrained teachers in the village. We need teachers who are willing to go to help work with pupils and instructors alike. Also, we would like to appraise the medical situation and start working toward the implementation of a first-care health facility in the church. Health care professionals are needed. Furthermore, Climbing For Christ staff and ministry partners will be evaluating the water and sanitation in Jeantilhome. In December, we would like to send a team bearing shoe-box gifts for the many children and families in Jeantilhome. Ongoing projects include: education, medical support, water purification, and improved sanitation.
Dates: April 10-19 and December 3-12. Length of trips: 10 days. Estimated cost: $1,600 to $1,800 per trip, depending on airfare.
Team: Minimum of four members, maximum of 10.
