“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you…” – Jesus speaking in Matthew 5:43-44 (ESV)

- 2 Thessalonians 3:3
One man’s alleged blasphemy against Islam quickly led to the homes of about 200 Christian families being vandalized and burned as they fled for their lives in Lahore, Pakistan on March 9. Two Christian churches were also burned as the mob of nearly 4,000 Muslim men took to the streets of Lahore.
Shortly after this incident, one of Climbing For Christ’s partner ministries, Save Pakistan, responded and went to Lahore to minister to the needs of those affected by the attack. In... Read more »

By Gary Fallesen
Founding President, Climbing For Christ
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” – 1 Corinthians 12:26 (NIV)
We found ourselves encouraging the church in Nepal – from a tiny house church of eight or 10 believers in the remote Far West to the main church of Savior Alone Redeems Asians (SARA ministry) in densely populated Kathmandu to young believers living in orphanages supported by Climbing For Christ. Our message: you are not alone.
In a nation of nearly 30 million people – 80 perc... Read more »

Save Pakistan delivered 50 Urdu Bibles to the city of Nankana Sahib, which is a holy place for followers of the religion of Sikhism. Sikhism is the fifth-largest organized religion in the world with more than 30 million Sikhs. This system is monotheistic (one god) and is known traditionally as the Gurmat, which translates to mean "wisdom of the guru."
Nankana Sahib is the birth place of Sikhism founder Guru Nanak Dev, whom Evangelist Haseeb referred to as "the dispeller of darkness." Guru Nanak was born in 1469. He was the first of 11 Sikh gurus.

Save Pakistan returned to Mariabad, where — on Sept. 4 — the ministry delivered a limited amount of Urdu Bibles to new believers. This time, the ministry went with many Bibles.
“It was really good to see the people who were much passionate and gathered in a place to attend the Revival Meeting,” said Evangelist Haseeb, the founder of Save Pakistan. “There were around 400 souls who came together to praise God and to get their own Bibles to grow up in Christ.”

We ask our members to PRAY for, GIVE to and GO on Mission: Nepal in 2013. This work is too important to not help. More than 97 percent of Nepal remains enslaved to false gods – from the more than 300 million deities of Hinduism to the dark deceit of Buddhism. More than 27 million people in this former Hindu kingdom are still considered unreached. Prayer warriors, financial supporters, and workers are needed to reach those who have not yet heard about Jesus, and to encourage those who are part of our body of Christ.
When: Sept. 19-Oct. 6, 2013.
Purpose: To continue serving with indige... Read more »
