Mission: Possible 6

Mission: Possible 6

Ministry for the bold and adventurous! Go where people have never heard the name of Jesus. We are returning to a place we have visited on two previous Evangelic Expeditions and where our “m” now works to continue building relationships.

“I have shared some more of the Gospel and explained the (discipleship) guide (we have developed in their native language),” our “m” said after visiting one of our semi-nomadic friends. “It was a nice talk and he is interested, but still have some more distance to trust. He welcomed you to visit again.”

When: May 2011. Length of trip: 14 days.

Buddhist prayer flag.

Purpose: Re-visit those we first met in 2009 and went back to visit in 2010. Only .05 percent of the nearly 1.5 million Kham Tibetans are Christian (about 7,500). Churches are non-existent and must be planted. Ninety-five percent of the people are Buddhist, blending Mahayana Buddhism (Zen in the West) with ancient occult practices.

Cost: Estimated at $2,500, including roundtrip airfare from a North American hub. This does not include the cost of a visa and domestic flight(s) to the hub meeting place.

FYI: E-mail info@ClimbingForChrist.org  to learn more or apply for the mission team.
