A massacre of 26 mostly Hindu tourists in Indian Kashmir on April 22, blamed on Muslim Pakistan by India, reheightened animosity between the two nuclear-powered countries. Kashmir has been disputed territory, causing three wars, since 1947. 

Mission: Nepal 2025 is Climbing For Christ’s 130^th short-term mission (or Evangelic Expedition). We’ve visited 20 countries in those 20 years – from April 2005 to April 2025. This is our 22^nd trip to Nepal.

Mission: Nepal 2026 is in the planning stages with a possible trek into the Manang area.

Mission: Nepal 2025 is Climbing For Christ’s 22nd expedition to that Hindu (and Buddhist) kingdom in the Himalayas since 2008, and the ministry’s 130rd short-term trip in 20 years of doing missions (April 2005-April 2025).

Mission: Turkey 2024, our 12th expedition there since 2010 and eighth in six years, is scheduled Aug. 19-Sept. 2. Christians make up less than one percent of the population in Turkey, which is 96 percent Sunni Muslim. When a Muslim in Turkey chooses to follow Christ, they are often rejected by family members and the community where they have been living for years. We will encourage Muslim background believers while continuing to deliver the Good News.

The Climbing For Christ way: returning to remote places time after time, growing relationships, sharing the love of Jesus, praying for the salvation of one – and then another. One at a time for all time. We return to Nepal on our 21st expedition to this Himalayan nation. Check back for daily Dispatches from May 1 to 18.

A new initiative: Climbing For Christ is helping children orphaned by Hindu attacks on the Christian Kuki people in the mountain state of Manipur in northeastern India. These children are housed in a “Grief Camp.”
