Peru’s president, Dina Boluarte, was impeached and removed from office by the country’s Congress on Oct. 11 by a unanimous vote, 122-0. Boluarte was considered the most unpopular Peruvian president in recent decades. But she was not the first charged with corruption. Hiking on and off the last 35 years; have maintained a general fitness level over the years since high school from being a middle-distance runner to doing a variety of sports most days out in nature. I took up distance walking in the last 10 years. My favourite sport is cross country skiing. Come to Canada and do the Canadian Ski Marathon, a distance for everyone!

Hiking I started in around 2010, climbing and mountaineering in 2014. Type of climbing you do: Bouldering, some crag sport climbing, some hiking, nowadays unfortunately nearly no mountaineering. Highlight of climbing career: Climbing Cotopaxi in Ecuador (5,897 meters) with a friend who is a guide, and leading teams up Sincholagua in Ecuador (4,899 meters).
