There was a huge need for short-term teams willing to put on a backpack and trek into hard-to-reach places. It was made for us! PRAY: For the Berber people, who were Christians until Arabic Islam arrived in the 7th century. Muslim Berbers also practice folk magic. Some individuals have accepted Jesus, but feel isolated and alone. Ask the Spirit to prepare more hearts in a country that is 99.98 percent Muslim and only 0.02 percent Christian. GIVE: To support work among the Berber people and send laborers into this field. If you can help send a contribution to Climbing For Christ, P.O. Box 16290, Rochester, NY 14616-0290. Or CLICK HERE and give online via PayPal. In Canada, make checks payable to The Great Commission Foundation, and on the memo line add Climbing For Christ CANADA. Mail your support to: The Great Commission Foundation, #3 – 1335 Trans Canada Way SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1B 1J1. Or give online at http://tgcfcanada.org/donate. Mark your contribution: “Climbing For Christ CANADA.” GO: Climbing For Christ’s second expedition to Morocco. Date: December. Length of trip: 14 days. Team size: 3-4 members. Purpose: To trek deep into the High Atlas mountains and meet the Berber people living there. Cost: Estimated at US$500 plus airfare to/from Morocco. The estimate includes ground transport, accommodations, food, and trekking expenses. Does not include airfare. To apply: E-mail info@ClimbingForChrist.org to request a trip application.
